MADE IN BRITAIN

Phew, I've had a stressful few days trying to finish a project last minute. I'm not normally one to leave things late and I certainly don't plan on letting it happen again! The overall aim of the project was to predict a trend for AW13/14 and then create a trend spread in the style of a magazine. I chose to look at men's fashion and predicted that the skinhead look was going to make a return with check short sleeve shirts, polo shirts, rolled up ankle grazers and Dr Martens!

For the purpose of my mock magazine spread, my boyfriend kindly modeled for me in a Farah Vintage shirt and a Penguin trilby, which we got in goodie bags from the Artrocker awards. I quite like the look on him if I'm honest!

Below is a poor quality copy of my final magazine spread! I decided to follow a similar style guide to that of the trend pages in FHM, a magazine I do not agree with but hey, I had to look at men's magazines for this project! I'm aware that I'm not the best user of Quark in the world but I'm actually pretty pleased with my final result, let me know what you think!

....Now to write the reflective essay....I can't wait until Christmas break!
