I've decided to embrace my former thirteen-year-old Gothic self and so bought myself a pair of Dr Martens, (which I used to wear to school as a teenager). Oh how funny it is that trends and tastes change and repeat themselves over and over...I really should learn just to NEVER throw anything away...because I WILL want to wear it again one day! I managed to get these beauties for just £62, brand new on ebay! If you put in the time to shop around you really will find bargains!


I had my first 'proper' day at Charming Magpies today which was exciting. I opened the shop up at 11am and then spent the day merchandising, making moodboards, and just generally looking at lovely vintage clothes!

    I wish I had seen that blouse when it was in New look. Good luck with your new job :) I bought docs when I was 14 but they were so painful to wear that I never wore them. silly me! x
