Yesterday I visited London for the day to style an autumn/winter themed photoshoot. Despite waking at 5am to catch my 5.55am train, I had no trouble in navigating my way to the proposed location - thankfully I am steadily getting used to travelling around London and so just jumped on a bus no problemo!
This was my moodboard. As you can see, I wanted to express the androgynous feel of this season showing mannish pieces with a colour pallet of very autumn colours; burnt oranges, browns, burgundy and black.
With this in mind, the team and I settled on the idea of 'A picnic in the park' in which two girls would be out for the day in a park. Rather than acting as though their feminine features and makeup might suggest however, their behaviour instead reflects their rebel Teddy boy hair styles and straight cut trousers; kicking leaves and balancing on fallen tree stumps.
Here are some images from 'behind the scenes' at the shoot. I will post the final images up here when the photographer has released them.
