Yesterday evening I got the train from Devon to Somerset to visit my boyfriend and his family before heading back up to Southampton this afternoon. I had a lovely time visiting my family but now it's time to snap back into reality and spend the next three weeks of my life, the last three weeks of my university degree, stressed out of my mind! Well, probably.
Following my final hand in, I shall be spending half of my summer interning for a fashion PR agency/online boutique - yes I got the job down Brick Lane :)
Photos from around the village I grew up in, taken whilst walking the dog yesterday afternoon
My first point of call is undoubtedly London, my favourite place in England. Yes, the photos above remind me that it's nice to relax in the quaint English countryside sometimes...but I'm a city girl and I love the bustling excitement and energy that radiates from London, it truly is magical. Also, I think that I LIKE being stressed sometimes, it gives me a sense of worthwhile, so London should suit me just fine. The problem is, money. It's so expensive to live in London that at the moment my dream seems near impossible...but where there's a will there's a way, so wish me luck! (Another city in the UK that I love is Brighton, it's almost like a smaller, safer London! But let's try for London first ey!)
The thing is though, as much as the idea of living in London excites me, maybe there are other places out there where I could be happy...I've never been to New York for example, a city which I would certainly consider. English weather is pants any way! My question to you then, is, if you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be? ...And what's the most beautiful city/place you've ever been to?
New York City. Easy.
