Yesterday my housemate Amanda and I fancied heading down to a more "touristy" part of London to check out the atmosphere brought by the Olympics and to enjoy the sunshine, (not before hitting the shops on Oxford Street first of course). We got off at Embankment and walked alongside the river; the atmosphere was great and it almost felt as though we were on holiday, especially with the sun beaming down on us!
I wore my Cure tee tucked into jeans with a collar made by Kirsti Lee. It was really hot; wish I'd left my blazer at home! I've been turning the sleeves up on EVERYTHING recently...every jacket, coat and jumper hung on the back of my door has rolled up sleeves, I love the look it achieves.
Tee: Vintage store
Blazer: Charity Shop
Collar: Kirsti Lee
Jeans: River Island
Socks: Topshop
Shoes: Dr Marten from Ebay
Bag: New Look

ReplyDeleteI've heard that it's actually a great time to visit London at the moment because all the tourists are staying away, thinking that's it's going to be rammed, so in fact it's not very busy! I really love your outfit, rolled up sleeves are definitely the way forward!

hey I am going to London in September. Can you recommend me good vintage clothing stores?
ReplyDeleteHello! I haven't lived here too long so don't know of any hidden treasures - though I'm sure there are LOADS. But if you head over to Brick Lane in Shoreditch then there are quite a few vintage stores down there like Rokit and Beyond Retro alongside less known ^_^
DeleteGUH how fabulous you look! I particularly love that collar <3
