GEORGE PRESS EVENT

This morning I went to the talk "So, you want to be a fashion designer?" at the Vogue festival and, although I don't actually want to be a designer, it was very insightful and so inspiring... but anyway, that's another post for another day! This evening I just wanted to share a few snaps from last weekend with you, when I did something a bit different and went to a bloggers event hosted by Asda.

I must admit that I've never really paid much attention to the George range at Asda as most of it isn't my style, but it was great to see it all displayed in the showroom so I could get a feel for what they have to offer. What I will say is that if you're looking for summer-wear suitable for festivals and holidays then I'd definitely check out their online store for some bargains! My personal favourite piece is this delightful little £16 ditsy print pinafore. (I was also impressed with their bag selection which consisted of cute little rucksacks, beach bags and satchels, all in fun, fashionable prints.)

 

After a nosy around the collection and some pampering we headed deeper into Soho where there was lots of excitement surrounding record store day. I was wearing pretty much head to toe Boden because I'd gotten some pieces from work the day before, what do you think of these polka dot Bistro crops? They're a little loud for me but I felt they suited my happy, spring mood that day!
