GLASTONBURY 2013

Each year thousands of fashionistas, amongst many others, flee the city and head to Glastonbury festival for a week of music, fun and British weather. I wont bore you with a chronological account of everything I got up to - but I will tell you about some of my highlights!

Thursday was one of my favourite days as I met up with a few friends and we went exploring! Ironically it was the one day that it rained, but we still managed to enjoy the Brother's tent, have a look around some of the craftier, arty fields and we also went to Shangri-la in the evening, which was amazing! This years theme was afterlife and although we never got to see heaven because the queues were so large, we did take full advantage of hell!

On Friday the music kicked off and there was an immediate change in atmosphere; everything was intensified somehow as sounds and excitement filled the air. Some of my favourite acts, (in no particular order), were Alt-J, Bastille, Stornoway, Phoenix, Mad Dog Mcrea and of course, Everything Everything. Fat Boy Slim's DJ set at Arcadia was incredible to, words can't really describe it! I'm sure there were others I enjoyed to... but that's the great thing about Glastonbury, it's not JUST about the music... there's so much to see and do!

As you can see, I spent most of my time in these denim shorts, which I bought from H&M two summers ago. I'd also packed a dress, some other tees and some jeans for the evenings, but I didn't get an outfit post each day cos I looked so bloody rough by Saturday!
