Yesterday I visited for the day to go to a few exhibitions and sit in on a few question and answer sessions with magazine editors. The first exhibition was held at the V&A, 'Postmodernism: Style and Subversion 1970-1990'. At first I was a little unsure as to what I was looking at, after all how often does one normally stumble into a room full of miss-match furniture, odd architectural sketches and bright flashing images? However towards the end of the showcase when plunged into the more musical, fashion and cultural aspects of post modernism things got really interesting!
I absolutely fell in love with this charcoal and pencil drawing by Robert Longo. I got myself a postcard of it from the gift shop afterwards for 75p!
Following this I went over to the stunning Somerset house where they were just putting up the ice rink, how exciting! It was here that I went to the fabulous Dazed & Confused exhibition. Vibrant, beautiful and striking, the exhibition takes you through 20 years of Dazed and Confused magazine using an exciting layout and showcasing inspiring talent.
I know it's not permitted but I took a cheeky photo of these two displays as they were simply stunning.
It's on until January so you've still got ages to go and see it which I really would recommend! Below are some images from the day:)

I wore my creepers out for the first time, they make me walk a bit funny but it's worth it! it was a chilly day and so I also had my wine faux fur hat and new scarf with me.
